The Hideaway Tattoo was founded in Mission Valley, San Diego in 2016. The shop was created by like minded artists Melvin Arizmendi, Nikki Rex and Mike “Chowdah bowl” O’Hearn. Their love of lighthearted and fun tattoos was the foundation of their partnership and set the tone for their business. Over time The Hideaway acquired other artists with the same goals of making quality tattoos and expressing themselves through their art.
